Kenny Bowers is one bad ass chef. You would have to be in order to create the El Jefe Grande burger, the one he serves up at Kenny’s Burger Joint in Frisco. The El Jefe Grande consists of a 3-pound beef patty topped with french fries, chili, queso, jalapenos, a half pound of bacon, onions, pickles, lettuce and tomato. It’s all sandwiched between two giant slices of Texas toast, and tips in at more than 7,000 calories. It is a true beast of burden.
It’s a pretty big deal if you scarf this burger in an hour or less. You get the $50 burger for free, a spot on the wall of fame and a $100 gift card for a few more of these massive burgers in the future. Last night the third diner in 3 years took top honors. Meet Ramsey Hilton.
Ramsey conquered the burger last night and was able to live to talk about the adventure. He is a chemical engineer from Mizzou and killed the burger in 40 minutes.
